A Terrific Performance for the Entire Family!
Come see all of our dance students in our end of the year Spring Recital 2024. Dancers ages 2 to adult will be showcased during this performance. Numerous Dance styles to be performed including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Hip Hop, Modern and Lyrical.

Open Audition - The Nutcracker

The audition is open to all dance students Girls and Boys age 5-Adult. You DO NOT have to be a student of the Carnegie Performing Arts Center to Audition. Everyone is Welcome!

Girls should wear Leotard, Tights and Ballet Slippers.

Rehearsals will be on Saturdays in October, and November. The Nutcracker Performances will be December 14 and 15.
We are looking for Enthusiastic and committed dancers who would like the opportunity to perform in a full stage production. Artistic Director Monica Ryan choreographs this magical production. The Nutcracker brings the dream of a little girl named Clara to life. A handsome Nutcracker Prince battles an evil Rat King. They both sled through swirling snowflakes and discover an enchanting Candy Kingdom
The Carnegie Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality performing dance education. CPAC believes that active participation in all aspects of performing will ensure the most well-rounded arts education and will result in the best prepared performer.
Halloween Celebration Week! TBA We are having our Halloween Parties in dance and theater classes. Do NOT wear Halloween costumes, just wear normal dance attire. Please BRING a Treat.
Pumpkin Painting contest TBA prizes for cutest, scariest and most creative. Be sure you sign up on the sign up sheet so we can buy you a pumpkin.
It is time for one Carnegie Performing Arts Center’s favorite events!
It is Bring A Friend to Class Week next week November 11 - 14 CPAC Students are encouraged to bring their friend to their favorite Dance or Acting Class! Let your friends discover how much fun dancing can be!
If you are a NEW dancer or actor in our Nutcracker Production you are required to attend one Theatrical Makeup Class. This class is provided free of charge to all performers. Children under the age of 10 MUST bring a parent. Make sure you attend even if you have not bought your stage makeup yet. If you have already attended a prior Theatrical Makeup Class presented by CPAC you are not required to attend.
Carnegie Performing Arts Center will be holding Registration for Fall Dance and Acting Classes on Monday August 19 5-8pm, Wednesday August 21 5-8pm and Saturday August 24 2-5.

Nutcracker Costume Fitting Day
November 3, 2024
Nutcracker Performer Costume Fitting Day is Sunday, November 3. Remember to sign up for your costume fitting time in the Lobby. Everyone in the production much sign up for a 10-minute fitting time.
Please wear a leotard and tights or at least something close fitting so we can try your costume on you. Tights, changing leotards and shoes are for sale on this day in case you need them.
T shirts for Nutcracker are ONLY sold on this day bring your payment if you would like one.
In addition parents please look for volunteer duties on the assignment charts.
